Hi my whirlpool frontloader model Wfs1071bd has just stopped washing it fills with water but wont spin to wash have turned it off at wall and reset and tried different functions but it doesnt get any further in its system than dispersing the laundry powder.please help

Can someone tell me the times of each cycle or where I can download a manual? Machine was just given to me to use.
Unfortunately, Slam, my user manual has long ago vanished into the ether. I've never bothered downloading one from the internet. but I'm sure there's a site if you go looking. The Daily Wash cycles, whether at 40 or 60, take about 1 hour as do most other cycles. Even the Delicates will take more than half an hour.
The washing machine had red light 'clean pump' . Please show me how I do and where is the pump ? My machine is front door and the model WFS1071BD
I started getting this problem when the machine was less than a year old. I called our local serviceman and he said 'It's not the pump, it's the board, best to count your losses and buy something decent. I have cleaned the pump a hundred times since then and it still can't complete a cycle without stopping and the red light 'clean pump' coming on. I now just empty the pump and set it to spin, if needed I rinse in the sink. The machine also started to rust before its first birthday. Not the brand it used to be. The Simpson dryer sitting next to it was purchased the same day and still looks new.
I would like to know how do I set my washing machine to wash only in cold water and wash a normal wash? eg the Quick wash is good but setting is 30 deg. I have shrunk heaps of clothes because of this heat and the cold wash doesn't wash the clothes at all, all through the cycle it just moves/ spins ever so slightly. Doesn't wash at all just giggles. Please help
I would absolutely love to hear the answers to your questions as well because I've been all over the Internet looking for answers to those very question. At the moment my machine is on a cold cycle and every so often it moves slightly but you certainly couldn't call it washing. I am running out of hot water because of this stupid machine! I will never buy one again!You buy a tap y splitter to make the cold tap have two fixtures and connect the hot and cold fitting to cold only. Means you can never wash in hot though!
